Class Placement
Movement Classes: Students should be the age listed for the class by October 1.
Technique Classes: Students will usually spend from 2-3 years at each technique level.
We work hard to place our students in classes where they will shine...if you have questions about your class assignment, please ask your teacher.
Make-Up Classes
Any missed class may be made up. Please ask your teacher which classes are appropriate.
No make-ups will be allowed during the two weeks before the spring performance.
We do no pro-rate fees for absences.
Practice Clothes
Explorations: Light pink short sleeved leotards are a good choice. They work well under scratchy recital costumes. For day to day classes, any comfortable movement wear is fine. Ballet shoes are optional. Tap or hard soled shoes are needed for the Combo tap class.
Ballet: Pink ballet shoes, footed pink tights, black leotard.
Jazz & Contemporary: Leotard and tights or dance pants and fitted top.
Boys: Dance pants and T-shirt or unitard.
Remember, we need to see the body to make corrections. Students wearing blue jeans, oversized clothes, or garments that hinder movement will be asked to change before entering class. SAVE YOURSELF THE EMBARRASSMENT AND WEAR APPROPRIATE CLOTHES TO CLASS!
